VELOCITY RETAIL REACHES OUT TO COLORADO SHOOTING VICTIMS

Phoenix, Arizona – The Aurora, Colorado theater shooting has touched many people as the effects of this horrific tragedy are far-reaching.  Velocity Retail has reached out to the victims and donated to the Aurora Victim Relief Fund which is in partnership with Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper.

We have learned that many of the victims did not have health insurance.  Some have been featured in various stories by the media, or have even started their own donation websites.  By contributing to the Aurora Victim Relief Fund, our donation will be used to assist the victims and their families.

The first $100,000 of donations has already been matched dollar-for-dollar, with donations growing every day.  The Community First Foundation is a longstanding Colorado community foundation and is providing management of the distribution of the funds. In an article posted on US.NEWS, it discusses sites for giving to individuals, but mentions the Community First Foundation’s site as being supported by the Governor.
